We made it! The summer is finally here, which means we can start thinking about where we’re going to spend our much-needed holiday, if we haven’t done so already, that is.
Whilst many opt to go abroad, with prices getting increasingly more expensive, more of us are opting for a staycation on good old British soil, instead.
Bridlington holiday cottages are one way you and your family can enjoy a beautiful staycation this summer. Here are just a few reasons why the stunning East Yorkshire coast is the place to be.
Checking out the local goings-on is a great way to spend your days here in Bridlington.
Not only is the surrounding village a beautiful place to explore, but nearby you’ll also find the medieval town of Beverley, and if you’re after more hustle and bustle, Hull is just over an hour away in the car.
Things to do
When it comes to activities, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Beautiful rolling beaches with a picturesque coastline, where you can kick back and relax with a picnic, play with the kids and make sandcastles, or even take a dip if you’re feeling brave (and the sun is wearing its hat).
Or, you could explore the stunning churches and stately homes, and get lost in the history of the surrounding area for the day, before heading back to your beautiful cottage for a night of R&R.
Getting out in the fresh air is also a must – whether that’s a round of golf, cycling routes or just a lovely long walk before stopping off for a picnic or pub lunch, the choice is yours.
About the cottages
All of our beautiful holiday cottages in Bridlington are well equipped and stylish, situated in a small and peaceful holiday park where you can really get away from it all for a week or so. Each cottage is also double-glazed and has heating, for any cooler evenings or inevitable rainy days.
We offer two varieties of cottage, the Wilsthorpe and Carnaby. You get all of the above with both, but treating yourself to a Carnaby means you get your very own hot tub. Perfect for an evening of relaxation after a day of walking or playing with the children.
