Why you should stay at Bridlington Holiday Cottages

Situated close to the beautiful East Yorkshire coast and within easy reach of the delightful town of Bridlington itself, Bridlington Holiday Cottages give you the best of many worlds. Relax at the main site in the English countryside amongst picturesque woodland, or pop in and out of the lovely town of Bridlington with all its history, and not forgetting the beach for some traditional family fun.

So much else to do only a short drive away

The Holiday Cottages are also the perfect base for you to explore further afield if you wanted to be a little more adventurous. Close by is the glorious Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast, which is ideal for walkers and hikers, and also the stunning beaches and coastline at Reighton Gap and Hunmanby Gap for those who prefer to be ‘off the beaten track.’

Within easy reach of the magnificent Yorkshire Moors

Only an hour’s drive away is North Riding Forest Park, which sits at the southeastern edge of the North York Moors. En route, stop off for a morning coffee in the pretty villages of Ellerburn or Low Dalby – or on the way back for an afternoon tea. The Park has lots of different walking and cycling trails, some great adventure playgrounds for the kids and plenty of other activities and events for all ages. If you’re even more of a thrill seeker, you’ll love all the treetop and climbing adventures at the Go Ape Dalby centre.

A little further into the Park, you’ll find the rather wonderful Bridestones, Crosscliff and Blakey Topping, a National Trust property, with its peculiar shaped rocks, heather moorland and ancient woodland. The stones are the remains of Jurassic sedimentary rock and at the top offer beautiful views of the surrounding moorland. The site also offers wildlife activities for children.

Driving back down to Bridlington, take in the pretty River Derwent and even across to Scarborough, with particular attractions being the Sea Life Sanctuary and the Castle.

So, Bridlington Holiday Cottages really are at the heart of so many interesting places to see and so many great things to do, on the doorstep and a little further afield – and for all ages!
